Job Description

Elluminates Software Corporation is looking to fill Senior NetApp Storage Engineer position. This position is in support of the Department of State.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for NetApp products as part of a system integration team
  • Support Netapp backing (volumes, CIFS, etc)  for backups with SnapProtect
  • Understand how to manage snapshots
  • Manage and set storage data retention, streams, deduplication policies for VMware and Guest OSes
  • Use OCUM for NetApp products
  • Provide Tier 3 support for NetApp products deployed at the State Department; handle escalated emails/calls from Tier 1 and 2
  • Responsible for supporting the modernization of core NetApp infrastructure architecture and storage engineering for 200+ overseas State Department Posts around the world
  • Work with customers to determine their functional needs
  • Assist in the development of Enterprise policies and directives
 
Work Experience:
 
  • NetApp OnCommand Unified Manager/Operations Manager experience
  • NetApp SnapProtect experience 
  • Excellent communications and customer management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Experience working with customers to capture/document requirements
 
 Years of Experience and Education Requirements:
 
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years recent related systems integration and design experience. Additional training and experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
 
Pluses
  • Cisco FlexPod experience is a plus
  • Systems Monitoring/OSS tools experience is a plus
  • OnCommand Workflow Automation(WFA) experience to automate storage tasks and data protection processes.
