Elluminates Software Corporation is looking to fill a full time Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist positions to support U.S. Government Infrastructure Operations and Services.

Job Description
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
The Help Desk Specialist will:
  • Provide phone and in-person support to users in the following areas
    • Email
    • Directories
    • Standard Windows desktop applications
    • Applications developed under this contractor or predecessors
  • Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software for PC and printer problems
  • May be required to act as a technical supervisor
 
Work Experience:
  • Providing technical leadership
    • Tier 1 experience
  • Apply leadership in any phase of the system development life cycle support a
task requirements dictate and may have high level of expertise in one area.
  • Planning, recommending, and performing changes
  • Experience with mobile devices: Blackberries, iPhones and Android devices
  • Utilizing knowledge of multiple technical disciplines, unique applications, and business management practices to develop technical and/or business solutions to client problems
  • Assisting clients in planning/developing objectives and goals
  • Supporting client objectives and conforming to the client’s operating practices
  • Requires an in-depth understanding of the overall network infrastructure and ability to provide remote troubleshooting and resolution.
 
Years of Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree is preferred
 
Desired Qualifications:
 
DOJ experience and industry certifications are preferred.
 
Type: Full-Time
Clearance: DOJ Public Trust; must be able to obtain TS, **Active clearance is preferred**
Location: Washington D.C.
Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Days off Saturday & Sunday (May be required to work holidays or weekends)
Type of Travel: Local
