Job Description

Elluminates Software Corporation is looking to fill an EMC Storage Engineer position. This position is in support of the Department of State.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for EMC products as part of a system integration team
  • Manage and set storage data retention, streams, deduplication policies for VMware and Guest OSes
  • Use Unisphere and ViPR SRM for EMC products
  • Provide Tier 3 support for EMC products deployed at the State Department; handle escalated emails/calls from Tier 1 and 2
  • Responsible for supporting the modernization of core EMC infrastructure architecture (Vblocks, VNX, Unity, Isilon, etc) and storage engineering for the State Data Centers
  • Work with customers to determine their functional needs
  • Assist in the development of Enterprise policies and directives
Work Experience:
  • EMC Unisphere experience
  • VNX and Unity experience with Fibre Channel
  • Excellent communications and customer management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Experience working with customers to capture/document requirements
Years of Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years recent related systems integration and design experience. Additional training and experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • VMAX experience
  • XtremIO experience
  • Automation experience with storage configuration, monitoring and reporting
  • Avamar and EMC storage with VMware experience
