Job Description

Elluminates Software Corporation is looking to fill a full time Citrix Engineer to support the Department of State as a part of the Vanguard 2.2.1 contract. The candidate will be responsible for the development of Citrix system architectures and designs for IT projects.  The candidate will research, analyze, evaluate and integrate as necessary new and emerging technologies in order to find ways to deliver a superior IT environment to the bureaus in a cost effective and secure manner. The candidate will support the continuing goal of incorporating these innovative technologies into the Department’s equipment modernization program. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, someone who can work independently, and will be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
 
***A current Top Secret security clearance is required for consideration***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy Citrix virtualization technologies for 30,000 users. 
  • Act as the technical team lead for Citrix integration projects.
  • Work with customers to determine their functional needs.
  • Translating customer needs into hardware/software requirements for existing or new hardware/software applications.
  • Provide Tier III support to deployed systems.
  • Assist in the development of Enterprise policies and directives.
  • Participate in functional or user acceptance testing to ensure final product meets intent of customer's needs.
  • Conduct Technical Exchange Meetings.
  • Reviewing and documenting functionality of existing legacy applications.
  • Create test plans, installation guides, technical specifications, white papers as required.
  • Communicate regularly to government POCs regarding project activities and status.
Work Experience:
  • Experience with thin/zero client deployments (5,000 users or more) with a Citrix back-end.
  • Experience architecting, designing, and implementing Citrix solutions.
  • Experience configuring and installing Citrix NetScalers.
 Years of Experience and Education Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Desired Qualifications
  • Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) certification.
  • Server virtualization and domain experience.
  • Experience leading system integration projects as the technical lead. 
  • Department of State Experience.

Location: Springfield, VA
Shift: Normal Business Hours with team member rotating phone support
Type of Travel: Candidate must be willing to: travel within the Washington DC Metro area to support various program initiatives; support a rotational on-call posture after normal working hours in response to technical support requests; and travel within and outside the continental United States, if required (not to exceed 10%).
