Recruiting Coordinator/HR Generalist

Position Description


Elluminates Software Corporation is looking for a part-time Recruiting Coordinator/HR Generalist.

This role will reside in our Chantilly, VA, office with hybrid work capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide coordination of recruitment and related services for supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
  • Participate in and provide analytical support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs. Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Assist the recruitment team with customized screening and initial contact of potential candidates to determine qualification and interest level.
  • Ensure job descriptions for openings are accurate and up to date; create new/update job descriptions as needed.
  • Provide hiring manager with selected applicants; coordinate interviews with hiring manager.
  • Assure appropriate members of management are kept abreast of all recruiting efforts; update, maintain, and distribute weekly recruiting report.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, HRSC, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations.
  • Communicate personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
  • Oversee annual staff performance reviews by Managers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.
  • Maintain and organize official employee files, both physical and digital.
  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action, if necessary.
  • Other Duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field with an emphasis on recruiting
  • Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
  • Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Desired Qualifications
  • SHRM Certification
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Atlassian Jira

Years of Experience and Education Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in HR functional roles with an emphasis on recruiting
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent


Type: Part Time, estimated at a weekly 15-20 hours a week
Clearance: None
Location: Chantilly, VA, with option for Hybrid-Work, such as work from home, per their supervisor and the needs for a given week
